You must be a certified/licensed teacher, with a college degree, teaching in a school district. If your meet these starting criterias, next create an account. If you are not associated with a school and/or school district, we may ask for you to enter your Social Security Number (for an extensive background check) and your Degrees and Certifications.

Go to the Manage Account area. There you will need to provide your Social Security number. Yes, you read that correctly. How else do you expect us to do a 7 year criminal history and sex offender check on you. The good news? We complete the background check within a couple days.

Nothing. Fourth Logic is associated with the Fourth Logic Foundation, which raises funds from local businesses, private donors, and large contributors to underwrite the cost of teachers and students on the system.

It is your responsibility to follow through with students, so politely go and ask your student if they still need assistance and if they would like to reschedule. We also recommend you utilize the messaging system to send a reminder message to the student.

Possibly someday, in the future, but for now we are keeping Fourth Logic as Free as possible.

Yes. Go to your friends page & click on "Start a Session." You will enter the Whiteboard area and your friend will be asked to join with you. You can work together from there.

Step One: Pic a headshot photo. Step Two: Resize the photo to 2MB. Step Three: Upload the Photo in the Manage Account area. Step Four: Decide you want a different photo and repeat steps one through three again.

If your friends and teachers are on the system, all the main subjects should be available - english, math, history, and sciences - and you may find more specific areas including some very unique ones too.

We currently do not have an additional resource list. But, we do recommend GradeCheck as an excellent resource for everyone.

Yes. When viewing a teachers profile, you should be able to view their credentials if applicable.

Tell us. We will go find that person for you.

Notify the friend or teacher you are scheduled with, and reschedule for a future date and time.

Add that person to your "My tutors" area or your Friends area.

You have the ability to give the person giving help a rating. Remember, teachers are wanting to get better and better, so while you will want to give a negative rating, also provide specific information so your teacher can become better at helping others through Fourth Logic.

Fourth Logic connects your Student to any Teacher & Friend that can possibly help them. There are NO upfront costs, No subscriptions or even fees, it's FREE. In addition, if their teacher, or any teacher, is not available your student can connect to their classmate via the Whiteboard system that they use with Teachers.

In your Student's area there is a Parent Email area. Enter your email to recieve notifications regarding features, news, and any academic sessions that occur.

Fourth Logic Teachers are the teachers within the school district your student attends. We organize the system according to Schools and/or School Districts, so the person your student is communicating with is someone within their very academic circle at their school. Because of this, teachers on this system are individuals your student knows, from their school, with College degrees, your Student's safety is our number 1 concern.

Yes, when necessary and very thoroughly. We determine it is necessary when we cannot verify a teaching license, or a Teacher has begun an account apart before being associated with a School District. We contract with HireRight to perform checks on their personal, employment, criminal, and degrees/certifications. Any potential teacher with any questionable history, without a school district verifying them, is NOT allowed to be on the Fourth Logic System.
